Wiiiiiii!!!!!!!

"Just Dance" (Wii) + disco ball in the family room = Some rockin' parties at our house

I bet you didn't know classically trained violinists can ROCK IT. These are some friends from the Motab orchestra that I carpool with. (We even had a sleep over. Like we were 11 all over again, they showed up with sleeping bags and pillows. Squeal!)

But just in case you think we party at our house constantly, we don't. It just slipped my mind to take pictures of people whining about sorting socks or cleaning the bathroom.

As a recovering perfectionist, I should totally do that. Watch for the Whining About Chores post... and I can hear it already, "aw, mom! are you putting that on the blog??!!" (Did I just discover a new blackmail technique?)

"I'm saving the seeds from my bread (flax seeds) to grow a bread plant. Then we won't have to buy bread!"

"There's nothing better than 'rock-paper-scissors' when there's nothing else to do."

"It's like I have super powers or something because I keep making good choices all day today!!"

"I have to turn my fan off by my bed so I don't blow away the tooth fairy tonight."

"Ugh, I can't get this song out of my head! I need to put something else in there, like a really good secret."

"When I sit on the drain in the tub while it's going down it's like the tub is kissing me."

"Ew, Alex you are in your swimming suit! No wait, I mean your party suit!" Michael: "You mean his birthday suit?"

"Can I trade my "bed-time tuck in" for a "bed-time cupcake"?

"Mom, Alex ran out into the road (while I was singing in choir practice at church) but don't worry, I looked both ways for him."

"Alex pulled my nutcracker's nose off. He's absolutely strong!"

"I think there is someone living inside of me who eats all my food and then it makes me hungry."

"Did you know that the wind is really just Jesus blowing on us?"

"I'm wondering where bad guys come from. Like, does Jesus make them or do they just grow?"

"Burps mean no in Spanish." (After burping when I asked him a question.)

"My cracker looks like an R in lepercase."

Jackson: "I wish there were banana trees." Mom: "Where do you think bananas come from?" Jackson: "From cows, like milk!"

On the way to church, Michael: "Jackson, what's on your shirt?" Jackson: "I think I got some fog on it."

"Mom, please don't talk on the self phone when you drive because every time you do you DRIVE TOO SLOW."

"Mom I don't think I should sing in the Primary program. I sing really bad like this: (imitates self really badly moaning) when I don't remember the words."

After eating cinnamon popcorn: "Dad, you can lick my fingers if you want."

"You can't just destroy people. It's so rude."

"I put the 'bikini' on the counter." (zucchini) Michael then explained that a bikini was a girl's swimsuit. "EWWWW!"

"I LIKE my thinkin'!"

"When I grow up, I'm not giving my kids dinner. Just dessert."

"Can we go to the store today? I want to waste some of my money."

"Alex is a masterpiece!"
