Would You Rather?

Have you played this game? We got it for the family for Christmas and I like it better each time we play, especially if you play with the right people. (Becky and Kim......)

As you can see, Alex likes to play, too.

(Side note, the top question on the card is great: Would you rather have all of your teeth fall out with no replacements -OR- mysteriously never again be able to open one of your eyes, even for one second?)

Here is Alex's favorite question:
Would you rather eat a "Would You Rather" card -OR-- eat bugs from the window sill?

I know what I'd answer.

I fished this out of his mouth. No more legs or wings. Not even sure if that's a head.

He eats everything, but it's the bugs that creep me out. I found a wasp in two pieces in his mouth. (I keep a very clean home when it's convenient, w
hich isn't often.)

Q. Would I rather....... clean the house like a mindless robot for 30 years or enjoy being with my kids while they experience life?

A. I'm starting to get this one figured out. Eh, what's a bug eaten here or there?

Is that the game we played when we stayed at your house? It looks vaguely familliar. Oh, Alex! Babies are so cute, yet so gross.

now the rock i get, lol. our betsy ate and sucked rocks and ate sand and dirt by the cupful. no exaggeration. we had to keep taking her in to get her digestive tract checked and blood tests to make sure she was okay. really! she'd hide from us to eat it. weird kids! lol

Maybe Alex would have liked the banana slug that Randy found crawling up his arm a couple of days ago. It started on his backpack in Portofino (we found the slime trail!) I've never seen Randy get the willies like he did at that moment! He jumped up and did the ol' "BLEHHHHH" thing right on the bus! Someday Alex will grow up too; until then, have courage!

UGH!!!! I just can't get over the bug thing. :)

You just hit the nail on the head as to why my house is always a mess....

3rd time a charm? The invite came and went without a response. Am I sending it to the wrong address? gr8tricefamily@yahoo.com?

I've seen the game once, but not been able to play it yet! The bug thing is totally normal, but still nasty! My girl tried eating an ant once (at age 3!) She pulled it out in a hurry, think it may have bite her a little or maybe it just tasted awful! I told her you don't eat ants, so now she says "You don't put them in your mouth" every time she sees one. She loves to rescue insects and put them outside in my flowerbed for me. Today she had a wasp in her hands. Lucky for us it didn't sting her. The lady bug later on was much more fun. It tickled! My house is an absolute mess! Welcome to real motherhood! lol I love reading your blog.
